Nature as Medicine: A Guided Forest Therapy Walk with Monique Giroux on Sunday May 3, 2026 from 9:30 am - 12:00 noon at the Bio-Ski Chalet
$25.00

What if the medicine you need is already waiting just outside your door?

Join Certified Forest Therapy Guide Monique Giroux for a gentle, 2.5-hour guided forest therapy walk inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). Through simple sensory invitations and mindful moments in nature, you’ll slow down, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with the living world around you.

Research shows that time in nature can reduce stress, boost immunity, improve mood, and restore clarity in our busy lives.

This experiential walk offers a chance to pause, breathe deeply, and rediscover a sense of calm, presence, and belonging in nature. You’ll also learn simple practices you can bring into your daily life—whether in a forest, a park, or your own backyard.

Come as you are. Nature will meet you there.

*** This event is at the Bio-Ski Chalet, at the BioSki Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe Club 2420 South Bay Road, Sudbury ****
