If you have any interest in helping some of our Indigenous Grandmothers create a healing garden in Hanmer, we are looking for volunteers, especially strong ones, to move some soil and rocks in preparation for planting.
We are looking for volunteers to work on the Grandmother’s Medicine Wheel Healing Garden in Hanmer, a project led by Mary Anne Caron.
The photo is the current stage of development and the goal is to have all of the soil in place before winter hit.
Help is needed with the following:
More black dirt has already been delivered and must be shoveled into place.
The loose rock trim needs to be moved from the rock pile onto the garden. .....
What you need to bring:

muscles
Mary Ann can meet Volunteers at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Hanmer, 30 minutes before work time and lead you to the Land.
