Butter - St. Brigid's Creamery

$14.70

St. Brigid’s butter is made from the cream from A2 grass-fed Jersey cows, which graze on the certified organic pastures and silvo pastures of the van Nes family farm in Huron County, Ontario. The rich yellow colour of this barrel-churned butter, which varies throughout the year, is due to the high concentration of beta-carotene that comes naturally from the herd’s grass-rich diet. The A2 Jersey cows produce only A2/A2 beta casein, which is generally found to be easier to digest by individuals sensitive to A1 beta casein.

250 grams - 84% M.F. - Salted / Unsalted

  • The van Nes Family Farm just received Regenerative Organic Alliance's Silver Level ROA Certification--which, when licensed, it would make this butter the highest certified-ROA Butter in the World!

  • Organic Certification by Pro-Cert (Creamery) and CSI (Farm)

  • Certified Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World

  • Grass-fed Certification by Dairy Farmers of Ontario

  • Savory Institute’s Ambassador Candidate

  • A2/A2, based on herd genetics
