Special programming for women this fall 2025
Painting by Jo Anne Parker - some of her work is available for purchase at the pharmacy
Laurie and I are pharmacists, in our 50’s. We’ve been pharmacists a long time. Long enough to see that there is more to healing than medication. Personally, I have had 4 children and have been going through “the big change” otherwise known as menopause. Women from puberty to old age, have all kinds of special issues to contend with.
This fall, we are going to celebrate women by introducing some new concepts that might appear to be a little different than what you would normally see in a pharmacy. We are going to introduce you to some special women who have offerings designed to improve the quality of your life.
Our society has accepted a lot of belief systems around these “women’s issues”. If you or someone you know, is having very difficult periods, a fear of jumping on trampoline or sneezing in public, if you are sweating so much that you can’t sleep, consider registering for one of our programs. If you would simply like to meet other women who are interested in these concepts, please join us!
We believe in nourishment, medicine and movement. Lots of issues are “druggable”….we have that department covered! Yet our training tells us that most chronic conditions can be improved through nourishment and movement.
Every second Wednesday, starting on Sept 10, we will be working with Kim Boyuk over at MNDFL Collective in New Sudbury at her YOGA Studio.
The rest of these workshops will be here at the pharmacy, Seasons Pharmacy and Culinaria, 815 Lorne St
Drum Circles are back! Introducing Jo Anne Parker
Join us in sacred rhythm, where each heartbeat meets the drum. In this circle, we gather not to perform, but to remember—to listen, to feel, to express. Through the ancient language of drumming, we awaken connection: to ourselves, to one another, and to the pulse of something greater. No experience is needed—only the willingness to be present. We will drum, breathe, and be together in a space of safety, rhythm, and release. Bring your own drum if you have one—or come as you are. Instruments and hearts will be shared.
