High Tea on May 6, 2026

Fascinators encouraged. Tea is essential.

There is something wonderfully civilized about putting the kettle on, setting out a beautiful spread and inviting people to stay awhile.

Join Mama G for a special afternoon tea party as we explore the traditions, recipes and rituals behind one of the world's most beloved ways to gather.

We'll look at classic afternoon tea favourites, from delicate sandwiches and savoury bites to scones, sweets and, of course, plenty of tea. Then we'll have some fun with them.

Because tea doesn't have to be stuffy.

We'll explore ways to keep things traditional, put your own spin on the classics, or create a beautifully simple tea spread at home. Whether you're hosting a birthday, bridal shower, Mother's Day gathering, special celebration or just looking for an excuse to put out the good china...

this is your excuse.

We'll cook.
We'll pour.
We'll nibble.
We'll chat.

And yes...

FASCINATORS ENCOURAGED.

Bring your favourite little headpiece. Feathers, flowers, bows, a little veil...
