TWO MAMAS HARVEST DINNER: A Celebration of Northern Ontario Food & Farmers

November 26| Place des Arts, Greater Sudbury

Join Mama G and Rachelle Rocha for a special evening celebrating the abundance of Northern Ontario’s harvest and the people who bring it to our tables.

Set inside the beautiful Place des Arts, this is more than a dinner. It’s an opportunity to gather around good food, hear the stories behind it, and celebrate the farmers and producers who make our local food community so special.

Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared, plated dinner featuring seasonal ingredients and products from local farmers, alongside specialty drinks, flowing apple cider, live music, and plenty of good conversation. Throughout the evening, we’ll make space for farmers to share tales from the growing season: the successes, the challenges, the surprises, and their hopes for the seasons ahead.

With Mama G’s signature warmth and personality, Rachelle’s perspective on sustainability and growing seasons, and a room full of people who care about good food and where it comes from, expect an evening that is delicious, engaging, and full of Northern Ontario spirit.

Because supporting local farmers is about more than buying local. It’s about knowing where our food comes from, understanding the people and work behind it, and investing in the future of our region’s food community.

Two Mamas. One Table. A Celebration of the Harvest.

An evening of beautiful food, farm stories, live music, and a celebration of the season we share.

The ACTION LAB: Where Food and Medicine Come Together

Imagine having a dedicated time every week to get answers to your health questions from pharmacists who specialize in both medication management and food as medicine.

At Seasons Pharmacy, we believe that the most powerful health transformations happen when expert knowledge meets everyday action. That's why we've created the ACTION LAB, a one-of-a-kind weekly program designed to help you confidently use food, lifestyle, and medications to support your health goals.

As pharmacists deeply committed to the philosophy of Food as Medicine, we provide:

Action Lab™ is a pharmacist-led lifestyle medicine and behavior change program that helps participants put food as medicine into practice through education, accountability, community support, and measurable health tracking.

Hosted by pharmacists Rachelle Rocha or Laurie Pennell, Action Lab meets every Tuesday from 6:00pm - 7:00pm and is available both in person and online. Participants joining online attend live and interact with the group just as if they were in the room.

Each session includes a focused lesson on a timely health topic, designed to increase your understanding of nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and practical strategies for improving your health. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions that support lasting behavior change.

What is QiGong? Qi Gong is Active Relaxation… it’s moving mediation to boost energy, relieve stress and balance our energy system.  The relaxation exercises considers mind, body, and spirit all at once.  QiGong is very broad: our class will be based on the first Five Elements Flows, a holistic system connected to our organs, senses and emotions.

What to expect?  You will be guided through a series of warmups, stretches, soft gentle movements and standing postures.  All movements are soft, slow and open to all skill levels. You’re essentially coming to enjoy yourself and to connect the mind to movement to breath.  Through intentions and age old movements, we’re letting go of stress, consciously transforming the negative to positive and tuning our energy system to lighter, higher vibrations.
