We are offering a series of herb walks, once a month, with Heather Arbour, the Frolicking Forager! !
Join us in sacred rhythm, where each heartbeat meets the drum. In this circle, we gather not to perform, but to remember—to listen, to feel, to express. Through the ancient language of drumming, we awaken connection: to ourselves, to one another, and to the pulse of something greater. No experience is needed—only the willingness to be present. We will drum, breathe, and be together in a space of safety, rhythm, and release. Bring your own drum if you have one—or come as you are. Instruments and hearts will be shared.
We are inviting all herbalists to join us for tea and discussion. This is a free event to encourage conversation and teach people about the abundance found in our forests. New and experienced persons are welcome! Each month we will do a deeper dive into one or two herbs or techniques. We have maximum seating of 12 for this free event. Please reserve a spot!
Join us for Applefest!
Sudbury is an apple growers paradise! Yes, its true! We have been growing apples for over 25 years, and we are showcasing local varietals for fresh eating and drinking.
Apple Tasting - We will have some tasting sheets to record the culinary elements of the apples.
Apple Cider Pressing - We will have Phil’s industrial apple chopper and bladder press on site to make the best cider you have ever tasted! The most delicious cider comes from mixing crab apples and having at least some apples with red skin. If you have an apple tree in your yard, or on your street, please bring them and help us process them. If you want to bottle your own personal cider, please make arrangements with Phil at Beautiful Fields Farm, and you can go out to the farm to press. The press can also do pears, so if you have your own pears, we can make a batch of perry, too. Grapes do not work in this press.
Recipes - Learn about making cider, fresh or fermented and making your very own apple cider vinegar!
Buy an Apple Tree: Meet local apple orchardist Phil Beauchamp from Beautiful Field Farm and get all of your questions answered about orcharding in the north! Fall is a great time to plant an apple tree!
For All Ages: Family‑friendly and free; children’s activities and hands‑on experiences welcome.
If you have too many apples for your own use, we are accepting donations of apples at Seasons Pharmacy and Culinaria, 815 Lorne Street starting on Tuesday, September 8, or just bring some with you on Saturday. We will sort the apples for tastings and making community apple cider on Saturday! Please document the name of the varietal and where it was grown.
This is a live interactive session with Dr. Josee Poulin, a family physician and functional medicine expert, specializing in midlife transitions, and Rachelle Rocha, our very own pharmacist and food as medicine enthusiast. This event will be hosted both LIVE in person at Seasons Pharmacy and Culinaria, as well as ONLINE. At the end of the presentation, we will be doing a cooking demonstration and talking about how to use food as medicine.
The online audience will be muted and then opened for questions, and there will be a live chat open which to make the experience as informative as possible. In person, we will be enjoying the products made in the cooking demonstration.

An invitation to remember who you are, so you live fully awake, fully alive and fully in charge of your own emergence.

Your vision matters, especially in midlife.
Many women notice changes in their eyesight as they move through their 40s and 50s:
• Blurry vision
• Dry, irritated eyes
• Difficulty seeing at night
• Increased eye strain and fatigue
What many don’t realize is that these can also be early signs of deeper imbalances connected to blood sugar, inflammation, hormones, and overall metabolic health. Conditions such as macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy often begin developing long before symptoms become severe.
The good news? There is so much we can do proactively to support and protect our vision before disease begins.
Join Dr. Josée Poulin alongside Amber Fournier for an empowering evening focused on taking a holistic, functional approach to eye health in midlife. Hosted by Rachelle Rocha at Seasons Pharmacy and Culinaria.
We’ll discuss:
✅ Protecting your eyesight as you age
✅ The connection between metabolism, blood sugar, hormones & eye health
✅ Nutrition and lifestyle strategies for healthy vision
✅ Common eye concerns women experience in midlife
✅ Simple proactive steps you can start now
This is more than an eye health talk, it’s an evening of education, prevention, connection, and empowerment.
What is QiGong? Qi Gong is Active Relaxation… it’s moving mediation to boost energy, relieve stress and balance our energy system. The relaxation exercises considers mind, body, and spirit all at once. QiGong is very broad: our class will be based on the first Five Elements Flows, a holistic system connected to our organs, senses and emotions.
What to expect? You will be guided through a series of warmups, stretches, soft gentle movements and standing postures. All movements are soft, slow and open to all skill levels. You’re essentially coming to enjoy yourself and to connect the mind to movement to breath. Through intentions and age old movements, we’re letting go of stress, consciously transforming the negative to positive and tuning our energy system to lighter, higher vibrations.

Anemia is often reduced to a simple iron deficiency, but the truth is, it runs much deeper than that. Many people continue to feel exhausted, foggy, and depleted even after supplementing with iron, because the body’s ability to properly absorb, transport, and utilize it is being overlooked.
In this talk, we’ll explore the missing pieces behind anemia and fatigue, from mineral imbalances to gut health and deeper systemic patterns, so you can begin to understand what your body actually needs to restore energy and vitality.

Stop Dieting. Start Understanding
Nutrition Mastery: Full-Day Transformation Experience
With 38 years in healthcare and disease management, Karen brings a level of insight most people have never been taught—until now.
This is not another diet. This is a complete shift in how you understand your body, your health, and your daily choices.
In this powerful full-day course, you will learn the real fundamentals of nutrition—how your body actually works at a chemical level, how disease develops, and how to move from a state of survival into a state of true wellness.
What You’ll Discover:
· How food acts as information that directly impacts your hormones, energy, and metabolism
· The chemistry behind blood sugar, inflammation, and fat storage
· Why most people stay stuck in a stress-driven “survival state”
· How to create balance in the body for sustained energy, clarity, and health.
· Foundational guidelines that support long-term health—not temporary results
Karen simplifies complex science into practical, real-life strategies you can apply immediately. You’ll walk away understanding how to fuel your body with intention, stabilize your system, and create an internal environment where your body can thrive.
This is about more than nutrition. It’s about reclaiming your health through knowledge, awareness, and lifestyle transformation.
Stop dieting. Start understanding. Start transforming.
Join us for a full day that will change the way you think about food, your body, and your health.
Nutrition Mastery — Because your body was never the problem. The lack of understanding was.

FlowFusion - Meditation in Motion
Your souls expression
Slow. Intentional. Movement. Embodied.
You’re invited to move, feel, and come home to your body.
FlowFusion is a trauma-informed, nervous-system-based embodiment practice that integrates cognitive awareness with physiological regulation to support emotional processing, expression, and self-trust. A somatic movement journey designed to soften the body, calm the nervous system, and create support for expression. Through a fluid fusion of modalities, EFT, Breath, tapping, Qigong, NLP, fascia releases, mediation and sound therapy, I created this practice to support, highly sensitive people, sensitive bodies, chronic pain, emotional suppression, and overactive minds, as well as anyone who want to explorer their edges, or feels hesitant to be seen or express themselves through voice and movement. this practice helps soften enough for the nervous system to feel supported and when that happens, expression, clarity, and healing unfold naturally.
We begin with guided fascia release, gently inviting ease, grounding, and presence. From there, movement unfolds organically from subtle micro-movements to more expansive flow allowing your body to lead and your inner rhythm and expression to emerge. This practice is lightly guided. You will be encouraged to find your own rhythm throughout.
Each session closes with a soft, nourishing sound and meditation to support integration and rest.
FlowFusion is not about doing it “right.”
It’s about listening, feeling, and letting your body lead you back home.

What It Is
The session blends intentional breath patterns, music, guided facilitation, movement/activation, and meditation to support deep internal experiences.
